Sweet Romance, Homestead, and Quick Pages!!

Okay, I'll just go ahead and get the giveaway winner out of the way! Today's draw is for a digital kit from Mel Hains Designs at Scrap That Idea. The winner is...{selected randomly using random.org}...comment #2, Mandy! Please email me at cwps29 (at) yahoo (dot) ca, (no spaces) and let me know which kit you would like as your prize! Congrats!

Next up, are the quick pages I made with Maurine's Sweet Romance kit. I showed you the layouts yesterday (check the post below) and if you haven't snagged this kit yet, you better hurry! It won't stay free forever! Here is the preview for my quick pages:

Same thing here, click on the photo to be taken to download, the password is beauty. And the last one gives you the option of having no word art on it, click on the photo to download, and again, the password is beauty. If you download all three, you'll probably only have to enter the password once. Please let me know if you have any problems downloading!! And next up, is this fantastic kit by Cheri at Dream Big Digi, let me tell you I just loved playing with this kit! It started out as a collab kit with SAHM Scrapper, and ended up huge! I'm sure I cranked out these three layouts in about an hour! Grab it quick, as for a limited time, it's only $2 in her store! Here is the full preview:And here is the preview for SAHM's part:and my first layout, starring my nephew, I just loved the papers and all the elements in this kit! This layout is of my new nephew, using Cheri's part of the kit only:And this one was Chase, just ecstatic that it was snowing {it was early October, so needless to say, I was not as overjoyed}.And this one is my daughter, just being all cute and happy! Love these elements, and the photo mask! This layout used both kits. And here is one last freebie for you! A quick page made from my first layout for you! Hope you like some of my layouts, and please leave a comment if you download! I know you hear it all the time, but I know I for one really like to hear what you think! Click on the image to be taken to the download, and the password is family. Also, we celebrate Remembrance Day in Canada today, so make sure you take a moment to remember all those that have died for us, before us, so we could live in a free country. I found something I find very interesting on Wikipedia (don't you just love Wikipedia??) about the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, check it out if you're interested. I honestly never really gave much thought to the fact that some men went to war and never returned, and that they were possibly just never identified. Lest we forget...

Looove Wikipedia.
In France, we've had a Unknown Soldier tomb under the Arc de Trionphe since 1920, with an eternal flame burning. I think it's a really nice thing to have a place to honour the ones that gave their life for freedom but were never identified.
