And here is my first layout, I just love the alpha in this kit! Chase was playing with sidewalk chalk with my sisters kids on the driveway, and by the time they were finished with their art, they had it everywhere!! I used a template by Digi Designs by Denise, and the Hand Stamped font by Michelle Coleman. 
This one I just love! I don't usually do layouts without photos, or that aren't about my kids! But this one is all about my love of books and reading. I used the Hand Stamped font again, it's quickly becoming my "go to" font for lots of my layouts. I also love that alphabet mish mash element, I reduced the opacity so it looked more like an overlay. I also extracted a colored piece of chalk and turned it white, and extracted the clip from the flower to clip my chalk piece to the blackboard. I used a paper tear from Gunhild, (it's on page two about halfway down the page of freebies) and the journalling font I used was DJB Fill In the Blanks (which looks like it is no longer available) and Heart Things 3 for the heart. 
This one I used the numbers element from the kit, and again reduced the opacity to my liking, the font I used here was CK Ali's Hand.
